On NTV – a new season of the action-packed hit “Nevsky” with Anton Vasiliev

On April 10, NTV will air the premiere of the sixth season of the action-packed detective Nevsky – Nevsky. Payback for Justice. The main role in the multi-part film – Major Pavel Semyonov – was traditionally played by Anton Vasiliev.

In the new season, the court arrested Pavel Semyonov (Anton Vasiliev) after he shot a drunken hooligan who threatened people with a toy weapon. As a measure of restraint, the detention of a policeman was chosen. Tatyana Belova (Victoria Maslova) is forced to resign from the police, but in order not to be left without a livelihood, she is looking for fugitives from justice, for whose capture a reward has been laid. Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Okunko (Nikolai Gorshkov) heads the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central District of St. Petersburg and invites Andrei Mikhailov (Andrey Gulnev) to join his team, who decides to continue serving in the authorities. At this time, investigators of the Investigative Committee establish that the killer destroyed by Denis Somov was never associated with the group of “Architects”. It turns out that the real culprit is still at large. Only one person can get on his trail, and this is Pavel Semyonov, who is in a pre-trial detention center, and he faces several years in prison.

Igor Draka, director: “The viewer should expect a lot of interesting storylines and twists. I can slightly open the veil of secrecy: Dmitry Palamarchuk will appear with a beard, and he will also start a love story. The rather specific relationship between the main character Pavel Semyonov and Thomas will be continued: semi-friendly, semi-conflict. As for Semyonov, I can say that good heroes are always very difficult to play. Anton Vasiliev found the golden mean. His character is ambiguous: neither good nor bad. That’s the beauty of it, because if he was the perfect good protagonist, then it would be boring. After all, what is the most important thing in our cinema? This is conflict. If there is conflict, there is cinema; if there is no conflict, there is no cinema.”

Filming took place in St. Petersburg. One of the most unusual locations was the former pre-trial detention center “Crosses”, in which Anton Vasilyev ended up as a prisoner. The famous prison is no longer functioning, but the creators of the project managed to gain access to a closed facility for filming.

Anton Vasiliev: “For several months in a row, I kissed the children in the morning, said: “Dad is going to work” – and went to prison to shoot the sixth season … According to the script, my hero ends up behind bars, we filmed the events of these episodes in the infamous “Crosses”. Even touching this world a little, you begin to double appreciate the minutes spent in freedom next to loved ones.

The series is filled not only with twisted detective lines and personal dramas of the characters, but also with spectacular scenes. In the new season of the detective, the audience is also waiting for a lot of action. By the way, in the frame, Anton Vasilyev performs almost all the tricks on his own, with the exception of difficult scenes where, for example, the main character must jump from a tall building.

Victoria Maslova: “My heroine is not just an opera. Working undercover, she can be anyone. Thanks to this, I, playing one role, can play several heroines at once, and for an actress this is a great success! Belova is purposeful and knows how to love. And given all her other super qualities, love gives her such a powerful driving force that it is impossible to stop such a woman. My heroine in the sixth season is waiting for a lot of new adventures, and it will take a lot of willpower and character to overcome all the difficulties. There will be many more scenes where I have to use force, it’s not easy, but it keeps me on my toes. I had experience of fighting in movies, and thanks to my dad for the basic skills in this art, it helps me in the profession. Also in the new season, I put on “strips” (dance shoes with high heels and a high platform), and my task was “not to kill myself” in them.

Andrey Gulnev: “In the sixth season, my hero Andrey Mikhailov will continue his service in law enforcement agencies in the Central District of St. Petersburg, familiar to him, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Okunko. And if the latter has many questions in the process of work, then for Mikhailov everything, on the contrary, is more or less clear and familiar. The relationship between the two partners – Mikhailov and Semyonov – will become even more difficult in the new season. But they cannot forget that they are connected by friendship, because the characters that Anton Vasiliev and I play together have gone through fire, water and copper pipes. Our friendship is a swing, we go from complete misunderstanding, perhaps even disappointment, to some actions and actions that, to some extent, do not justify our behavior, but explain why in this or that situation we act this way, not otherwise.”
