On November 30, Vladimir Albertovich Lebedev passed away

Vladimir Lebedev worked in senior positions at Nizhnovenergo and Lukoil, and was the first deputy chairman of the government of the Kirov region. In 2009, he was elected to the post of deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region. At that time there were terrible fires, the forests were engulfed in flames, and he, as deputy governor, was in the very epicenter of the firestorm, making every effort to help people. He was a politician with extensive experience who rose from the regional level to the federal level, having done a lot for the Nizhny Novgorod region. He is rightly called the most effective head of the Federal Forestry Agency. Since 2014, he has been a senator from the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Vladimir Albertovich was a man with strong principles and convictions; he was distinguished by responsibility and the ability to successfully implement the most daring plans.

He always strived to do everything possible for the development of forestry and hunting, putting the interests of the areas he supervised above his own. A true leader and professional, he remained a kind, sympathetic person. Vladimir Albertovich, with his work and knowledge, made a significant contribution to the development and improvement of Russian legislation. The work he has done is of great importance for solving important problems in preserving the forest and hunting resources of our country. Thanks to his efforts, many laws and regulations in the field of forestry and hunting legislation were revised and supplemented, which made it possible to improve the system of control and monitoring of the use of natural resources.

Vladimir Albertovich was not just a boss for those with whom he worked, but a true friend, he sincerely loved nature, was a hunter, understood and appreciated hunting and tried to do everything for its development in our country. Awarded the medal “For Labor Valor”, the Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh, III degree, of the Russian Orthodox Church.

His passing is a huge loss for many people.
