On February 27, the repair of escalators at Baumanskaya and four more metro stations began

On February 27, repairs of escalators began at five stations of the Moscow Metro. But entry restrictions await passengers of only one station – Baumanskaya.

Repair of the escalator at the Baumanskaya station of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line will last until April 28. Traditionally, the shutdown of even one escalator at this station, which has only one exit, causes a congestion of passengers during peak hours. To avoid this, during the repair of the lift on weekdays during peak hours, as well as with an increase in passenger traffic, the entrance to the station will be closed. This was announced on the official website Moscow metro.

To enter the metro, it will be faster for passengers to take ground transport to the Krasnoselskaya station of the Sokolnicheskaya line.

Repair of the escalator has also begun at the Semyonovskaya station of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. It will last until March 7th. This station also has only one exit to the city, however, nothing was reported about restrictions on the entry or exit of passengers in the Moscow subway.

In addition, from February 27 to April 27, one of the escalators at the Kitay-Gorod station of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya lines, leading to exits No. 1-7, is closed for repairs. Lane, the Polytechnic Museum, Ilyinsky Square, the monument to the heroes of Plevna, Ilyinsky Gate Square, Maroseyka and Pokrovka streets, the Church of St. Nicholas in Klenniki, Bolshoy Zlatoustinsky Lane, Lubyansky Proyezd, Bolshoy and Maly Spasoglinishevsky Lane, Moscow Choral Synagogue, as well as to bus stops No. m3, n3 and n15.

From February 27 to April 28, an escalator will be repaired at the Verkhniye Likhobory station on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line, leading to exits No. 1-3. stops of urban ground transport routes No. t36, t56, t78, 179, 215, 447, 591, 763, 194, 563, m40, 167, 170, 114 and 154.

Also, from February 27 to April 28, the escalator at the Butyrskaya station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line, leading to exits No. 1 and 2, is closed for repairs. These are exits to Ogorodny passage, Rustaveli street; V. Spesivtsev Youth Theater; Shopping center “Green”, Dobrolyubova street, as well as to the Ostankino railway platform and stops of ground transport routes No. t29 and s532.
