The press service of the regional administration reports that 10 thousand residents of Kostroma took part in the “Ski Tracks of Russia” races that took place on Saturday. This sports festival has been held in our region since 1982 and attracts not only professional athletes, but also all ski lovers (including people with disabilities).
This year, the “Russian Ski Track” was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, and registration of participants was carried out, among other things, through the “State Services” portal.
The starting place for the “Ski Tracks of Russia” was the ski base of the Olympic Reserve Sports School named after A.V. Golubeva in the village of Chizhovo. For the convenience of the participants, the city administration has allocated additional buses to the competition site.
During the races, 100 Kostroma residents passed the standards of the GTO complex for cross-country skiing, and the winners of races at distances of 3, 5 and 10 kilometers received medals, diplomas and memorable gifts..
