Omsk road workers will once again sweep the route of the Christmas Half Marathon

Preparations for the Christmas half-marathon are underway in Omsk. Particular attention is paid to the quality of the track.
The city is preparing to host the Christmas Half Marathon. Let us remind you that it will take place tomorrow, January 7. As it became known, employees of the Road Management and Improvement Department will take care of the quality of the route. The mayor’s office reported that road workers will clear it of snow, treat it with de-icing materials and sweep it again. In addition, they will restore order in some areas adjacent to the highway.
The work, the administration noted, is already in full swing. They take place on Lenin, Ivan Alekseev, Spartakovskaya, Tarskaya, Partizanskaya streets, as well as on the Tukhachevsky embankment.
By the way, during the marathon itself, special teams of road workers will be on duty in places where Omsk residents gather and monitor cleanliness, promptly removing garbage.
After the race the area will be cleaned again. On the remaining days, road services will continue to be on duty, subject to weather conditions.
Earlier it was reported that on January 6, participants of the half marathon will begin give out T-shirts. We also remind you that this year the event will be held in new format.
