Omsk Avangard has not abandoned plans to acquire Ak Bars striker Damir Zhafyarov.
The general director of the club, German Chistyakov, stated this in a conversation with the press service. Avangard plans to exchange the striker, however, they understand that this will not be easy.
“The candidates don’t end there. It will probably be possible to bring in one or two more players so that the team becomes complete and the bench becomes longer. The work is still underway, I hope that we will please you with transfers,” added the functionary in a conversation with the club press service.
Let us remind you that the parties considered a three-way exchange – Damir Zhafyarov will become a Avangard player, Omsk club striker Igor Geraskin will move to Magnitogorsk, and Metallurg forward Semyon Koshelev will become a Ak Bars player.
