Omsk “Avangard” played at the tournament in Sochi with the youth team of Russia and lost in shootouts

On Monday, August 7, Omsk hockey players played at the pre-season tournament in Sochi with the Russian team of players under the age of 23 and were defeated by shootouts 3:4. Pyanov and Vengryzhanovsky scored from the game (twice).

On August 7, Avangard played a match at the pre-season tournament in Sochi against the Russian U-23 team (players under 23 years old) and lost 3:4. The outcome of the game was decided on shootouts. The goal here at the “hawks” was defended by Ilya Proskuryakov.

According to the press service of the “hawks”, the team scored already in the first minute – Buchelnikov became the author of the goal. Our team equalized only in the second period. Valentin Pyanov mostly scored on the rebound on the “patch”. He was assisted here by Trikozov and Vengryzhanovsky. Relatively quickly, however, the opponent took the lead again – in the 26th minute, a quick attacking exit was closed by Demidov.

Further, before the break, the Siberians even equalized the numbers on the scoreboard again – the same Vengryzhanovsky had already recorded a goal for himself, throwing a goal after an excellent pass by Reinhardt.

In the third period, the team took the lead again when Velikov scored – already in the 42nd minute. “Hawks” retaliated this puck in 9 minutes – Vengryzhanovsky scored again.

Regular time and ended 3:3, as well as overtime. Therefore, the winner was revealed only in the shootouts. The Russian team turned out to be stronger there, the decisive throw was made by Ilya Chefanov – 4:3 in the end.

In the previous match at the Omsk tournament defeated SKA 5:1. Then they will play their final game of starts on August 8 – against Admiral.
