In the time before the score 1:2, the teams managed to spend about a couple of attacks. And 2 minutes 5 seconds before the end of the game, Avangard took a time-out – and, as it turned out, not in vain! This brought the result in the form of one win back puck. At the 59th minute in the majority (6 to 5, Omsk removed the goalkeeper and released another fielder) Reed Boucher closed the transfers of Chistyakov and Gritsyuk. At the same time, the Omsk residents tried to continue to recoup, and now, 36 seconds before the siren, Kulemin scored from the transfer of Shmelev into an empty net.
