The Avangard hockey club has extended the contract with 18-year-old defenseman Mikhail Gulyaev for three seasons.
This season the hockey player played 17 matches. At the same time, he scored 5 (2+3) points with a utility indicator of “+5”.
“Gulyaev is still young, but has already established himself in the team, makes mature decisions on the ice and benefits the team. He is constantly progressing, working on himself, which gives results,” Anton Kuryanov, general manager of HC Avangard, commented on the decision.
He also expressed hope that other team players will look up to Gulyaev.
