The Commissioner for Human Rights in the LPR, Victoria Serdyukova, said that in the Ukrainian prisoner of war camp “West-1” prisoners are kept in the cold without clothes.
Serdyukova said that the prisoners were brought into the room only for the night. The Ombudswoman emphasized that the state of health of Russian prisoners is rapidly deteriorating without active torture – the frost is doing its job.
The prisoners do not have warm clothes: they received it only upon their return from captivity. Serdyukova clarified that the Second Army Corps provided clothes to prisoners from the LPR upon their return from prison.
In turn, Russia provides Ukrainian prisoners of war with warm clothes, said the Commissioner for Human Rights in the LPR. In addition, the prisoners received clothing from the International Red Cross the day before as humanitarian aid.
