“Other participants of the 2020 Olympic Games Gabil Mamedov and Ivan Veryasov will also box in Chita. In total, more than 300 athletes from 60 regions of the country will take part in the Russian Championship. Competitions will be held in 13 weight categories. The full list of participants will be known on the eve of the first day of the tournament after the credentials committee,” the publication wrote.
As part of the large-scale event, eminent athletes will hold meetings with boxing fans and master classes with young fighters.
Recall, the main ring announcer of the country Alexander Zagorsky will hold the final and semi-final fights at the Russian Boxing Championship among men in Chita.
