The completion of the construction of a sports facility in the near future was announced by the governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexei Teksler. The head of the region on Saturday, November 12, wrote about this in his telegram channel.
Alexey Teksler noted that athletes and coaches are looking forward to the completion of the work in order to start training and use the modern sports infrastructure. The new center for Olympic hockey training will allow children from all over the region to live, study and train in Chelyabinsk on a permanent basis.
Now both structures are in a high degree of readiness. Finishing works and installation of equipment are carried out. The head of the region emphasizes that there are enough builders to complete the work on time – by the beginning of December 2022.
It should be reminded that in addition to sports facilities for hockey, it was planned to put into operation two more large sports facilities this year: the Rifey sports and training center and the new Stroitel pool.
