Olympic champion Lasitskene to perform at Kuban Governor’s Cup in athletics

On February 4, the Cup of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory in athletics will be held. The traditional tournament will be hosted by the Olympian athletics arena in Slavyansk-on-Kuban.
The strongest Russian athlete of recent years, Maria Lasitskene, the winner of the Tokyo Olympics, has entered the competition. Many strong Kuban athletes will perform as well.
In total, 150 athletes from 15 regions of Russia are expected to attend the tournament. Competitions will be held in the 60m, 200m and 400m flats, 60m hurdles, pentathlon, shot put, high jump, long jump and pole vault.
Entrance to the competition is free. The first event will start at 10:30. The final of the final discipline – the women’s high jump – will start at 16.45.
