On the territory of Donbass near the city of Soledar, a former resident of Chelyabinsk Olga Simonova with the call sign “Simba” was blown up by an explosive device, who renounced Russian citizenship and joined the armed forces of Ukraine.
Her death was reported by the correspondent of the Ukrainian news channel TSN Natalya Nagornaya.
As specified, in 2014, a resident of Chelyabinsk, due to disagreement with the policy of Moscow and the entry of Crimea into the Russian Federation, went to Ukraine, where she signed a contract (as a foreigner) with the country’s Ministry of Defense. In 2017, she renounced Russian citizenship and went to serve in the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named after King Danil.
