Star of the films and TV series “Live”, “Correction Class”, etc. Olga Lapshina has been in great demand among directors in recent years. She has no time to go on vacation for a long time and far away, so during the entire vacation period she only managed to spend the weekend at the dacha. If anyone doesn’t know, the artist has a country plot, and it’s quite unusual. She shared the details with MK.
– Our dacha is far from Moscow, 500 kilometers, we have such a “bear corner” there. I like everything there: spending time in the summer kitchen and on the river. My husband (ethnographer, artist Sergei Starostin – editor’s note) constantly fishes, I go for mushrooms. In general, a lot of people come to visit us there.
– Why is the dacha so far away?
– Somehow, by itself, a company of Nizhny Novgorod and Muscovites formed. And we gradually came to this place, we liked it: very beautiful.
– Do you know anything about gardening yourself?
– Yes, I have a film garden there, where I plant vegetables and call them films in which I worked.
My film garden began with potatoes “Leviathan”, then – cucumbers “Correction Class”, garlic “How Vitka Chesnok carried Lyokha Shtyr to the home for the disabled.” This year there were onions “Plevako” and potatoes “One Day”, greens “Word of a Boy”. Semyon Serzin, for example, had two films: “The Man from Podolsk” and “A Similar Man,” so one year I planted zucchini “The Man from Podolsk,” and then “A Similar Man.” I always name everything I plant. Well, it’s such a fun game. But, on the other hand, I cultivate these crops, call them by name, and they bear fruit.
