The young athlete representing Olenegorsk and the Murmansk region took third place at a distance of 3000 meters in speed skating competitions. She trains under the guidance of Natalya Zykina, reports the press service of the Olympus sports school.
The second stage of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia Speed Skating Championship took place from January 18 to 20 in St. Petersburg at the stadium named after B.A. Shilkova. More than 100 of the strongest speed skaters aged 14-15 years from seven regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.
Earlier, athlete Ksenia Korzhova brought two medals from speed skating competitions. “MK in Murmansk” wrote that the girl also lives and trains in Olenegorsk.
