7 sports facilities, from the Smolensk region to the Perm region, created within the framework of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”, opened their doors. They are designed to make sports in the country more accessible and closer to citizens.
A sports and recreation complex has opened in the city of Sychevka, Smolensk region. It includes a universal sports hall for mini-football, basketball and volleyball, gymnastics, as well as a hall for table tennis, chess, fitness and strength exercises on simulators. Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government Alexey Gusev took part in the opening in the video conferencing format.
“In most cases, multifunctional facilities are now being opened, where you can practice not one, but several sports. This solution helps to meet the demands of modern times and evenly develop different sports. We are glad that the heads of the constituent entities pay great attention to the development of sports infrastructure and take the matter seriously. I urge all of you not to slow down, but only to increase them. By joint efforts, we are strengthening the national sports system and making it truly strong!”, concluded Oleg Matytsin.
