Russian actor, writer and screenwriter Ivan Okhlobystin spoke about the condition of actor Mikhail Efremov, who is serving a prison sentence for a fatal accident in correctional colony No. 4 near Belgorod.
According to Okhlobystin, the artist is now doing well, and he managed to improve his health. At the same time, he clarified that Efremov’s lower teeth fell out, and now they are thinking how to make sure that they can be restored.
Okhlobystin added that he and musician Garik Sukachev often visit the actor. He hopes that after his release, Efremov will be able to return to the stage. According to the screenwriter, “vaudeville-comedy things” will not be available to him, but he is nevertheless an excellent director and theater person.
As Okhlobystin noted, Efremov will be able to return to work at Sovremennik, since this is his “home”, and he is “really needed” there now.
