Odnoklassniki presented an updated Hobbies service – Kommersant

The Odnoklassniki social network has updated the “Hobbies” section, thanks to which it has turned into a full-fledged service with professional and user-generated content. As the social network stated, the new platform will help reach more users, as well as increase engagement and find new audiences.

Now users will be able to decide in which “Hobbies” section to publish their post, which will immediately bring them to the target audience. The reach and engagement of a publication will depend not on the popularity of the author, but on the relevance and topic of the post itself. Thanks to the new design, posts from “Hobbies” will immediately be visible in users’ feeds, and “Hobbies” themselves are now available to unregistered users. The social network has a new search for publications with popular hobbies, as well as improved navigation, updated catalog and added new filters.

The new section “Knowledge Base” will publish videos and articles specially selected by Odnoklassniki and written by professionals and experts from various fields. Q&A allows content creators to interact with the Hobbies audience and answer questions about specific hobbies. The new “Hobbies” feed can be accessed from the main feed, as well as through the side menu in the web version or the button in the bottom menu of the main screen on mobile devices.
