Attempts by the United States to isolate the Russian Federation did not work. This is reported by the American newspaper The New York Timesin which they released material on the support of America’s position in relation to the Russian Federation from other countries.
It is noted that the United States has assembled a coalition of a large number of countries that in March last year supported the resolution of the UN General Assembly demanding that Russia stop the special operation on the territory of Ukraine. It was supported by 141 countries, against – five.
The NYT stressed that the West did not manage to “get as many parts of the world as it might seem at the beginning.” Those countries that abstained during the vote “provided economic or diplomatic support to Russia,” the material says.
The material says that Western countries failed to destroy Russia with the help of sanctions, as planned in the West.
