According to the publication, the head of the White House told his advisers that he wants to visit the Ukrainian capital on these dates to show the allies that his administration “remains committed” to helping Kyiv.
On Monday, February 20, it became known that Biden arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit. The trip was prepared in secrecy for security reasons.
Earlier media reported that Biden was supposed to visit Poland and meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky there.
