Umar Nurmagomedov, who is the younger brother of Khabib Nurmagomedov, knocked out Raoni Berleos at the next UFC tournament in Las Vegas (USA).

The fight ended with Nurmagomedov’s victory in the first round. The exact blow turned out to be a knockout, but Umar rushed to finish off the opponent. He later apologized.

“I apologize for finishing off the opponent. I thought I just knocked him down. Got it on automatic. I didn’t want to harm him,” Nurmagomedov said after the fight.

For him, this victory was the 16th in a row in mixed martial arts, in the absence of defeats.

Earlier it was reported that his older brother, former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov left the MMA industry and said goodbye to his team. The athlete intends to spend more time with his family, which makes it impossible for him to coach and travel to training camps. In October 2020, Khabib announced his retirement from professional football. The Russian left the sport undefeated with 29 victories.
