Number of temporary registrations of Russians in Armenia quadrupled

The number of temporary registrations of Russian citizens in Armenia has increased several times, reports RBC.
According to the newspaper, from September 21 to November 11, 2,820 Russian citizens registered in Armenia at their place of residence, which is almost four times more than in the same period last year. Then 722 Russians received temporary registration.
In addition, Russians began to apply for a residence permit more often. 708 applications were submitted in a month and a half, which is 2.5 times more than in the same period in 2021.
At the same time, the percentage of those who received a residence permit during this period of time decreased: this year, documents were issued to 273 Russians, while last year, 257 people out of 277 received them during this time.
