During her visit to Niger, Acting US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland warned the rebels about the possible negative consequences of cooperation with the private military company Wagner. During a conversation with media representatives, she focused on the fact that the participants in the rebellion should carefully weigh the risks associated with involving Wagner in the internal affairs of the country.
“The people responsible for these events are aware of the very serious threats to sovereignty associated with the possible involvement of Wagner,” Victoria Nuland said, quoted by AFP.
