NTV channel started filming a detective story about the best snipers of the Great Patriotic War

Filming of the action-packed detective of the NTV channel Samogon started in the Moscow region. The story about the courage of Soviet soldiers, their exploits in the battle for the Motherland is dedicated to the best snipers of the Great Patriotic War. The production of the picture is carried out by KIT Film Studios.

1942, a photojournalist arrives from Moscow on the Southwestern Front to capture a unique record for history: the 600th fascist killed by one person – sniper Nikolai Slepkov. The hero himself, a gloomy and silent recluse, avoids the hype. But others talk about it.

Autumn 1941. “Green” reinforcements from Siberia arrive at the most dangerous sector of the front. Among them is Nikolai Slepkov – “moonshine”, as they call lone hunters in the taiga who drive the beast themselves, without dogs and other hunters. In the first fight, he shows himself. In the second, in the third… Taking risks on the front line and climbing behind enemy lines, doing the impossible. Moonshine was wounded six times, twice seriously, but he always returned to hit the enemy and protect his own.

Sergey Malyugov, director: “The series attracted me with the uniqueness of the hero – this is always a guideline for the director. The role is not easy, the casting caused some difficulties. The hero is a young man, which immediately cuts off a large number of famous artists, plus a certain texture was required due to a number of points related to psychophysics. This narrowed the focus of the search. Yura Deinekin has a very good texture, I hope that this role will help him learn something new about himself. Having acting experience, I understand that it would be wildly interesting for me to analyze this role and look for my hero.

Yuri Deinekin, lead actor: “My hero is an ordinary Russian guy from Siberia, from the taiga, from a small village. His whole life before the front was connected with forest hunting. His elder brother was engaged in his upbringing, because, due to his unsociableness, Nikolai found it difficult to get along with people. Few people understand him, he lives on the intuitive feeling of the world according to the precepts of his brother. He taught him that people are often cruel to those whom they do not understand, and therefore treat him with distrust. Nikolai sees the world as it is, sees justice and injustice, truth and lies, believes that it is possible only this way and not otherwise.

In preparation for filming, Yuri Deinekin reviewed Soviet films, studied newsreels of the war years and other sources of information, of which there are many. Also, together with other actors, he took a short course for a young fighter: how to handle a weapon, how to hold it, how to load it, especially aimed shooting.

Yuri Deinekin: “History shows the feat of the people and one person, which is important to remember: that the simplest guys – neighbors, classmates, relatives – went to the front and gave their lives. And from the point of view of the acting profession, the character is very difficult, interesting. A person with an internal monologue, such as any actor would be interested in. I don’t look like him at all, Nikolai is my opposite, this is a role for resistance, a challenge to myself. ”
