Novgorod gymnasts won several victories at the international tournament

Athletes from Veliky Novgorod Maria Agafonova and Alina Shklokova won several gold medals at the international artistic gymnastics tournament in Minsk, Governor of the Novgorod region Andrei Nikitin reported in his Telegram channel.

The Novgorodians competed as part of the Russian national team, which took first place in the team competition.

In addition, Maria turned out to be the best in the individual all-around and two separate events – vault and floor exercise. She also won silver and gold medals in the beam and uneven bars exercises, respectively. Alina was placed on the second step of the podium following the results of the vault competition. In total, the athletes took seven awards.
