At the end of 2022, NOVATEK increased natural gas production to 82.14 billion cubic meters. m. is 2.8% more than in 2021. The company’s website also notes that the annual volume of sales of all gas increased to 76.55 billion cubic meters. m. (+1% in annual terms). At the same time, the production of liquid hydrocarbons decreased by 2.9% to 11.94 million tons (compared to 12.3 million tons in 2021).
LNG became the only type of fuel whose supplies from Russia to Europe increased in 2022.
