Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak, speaking to journalists, warned of the extremely negative consequences of the politicization of the energy sector, informs Ren-TV.
The minister called the introduction by Western countries of a price ceiling on Russian energy resources “an unprecedented interference in the market principles of the functioning of the oil market.”
“This will inevitably lead to a drop in investment, a decrease in supply and a shortage in the supply of oil and any other commodities to which this mechanism may be applied in the future,” Novak is sure.
