Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Norwegian Kasper Ruud in three sets in the final of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tournament. The final result is 7:6 (7:1), 6:3, 7:5.

Djokovic is currently ranked third in the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings, with Ruud below.

The Serb won the Roland Garros for the third time in his career, and he also scored the 23rd victory in the Grand Slam tournaments with the result in Paris. The 36-year-old Serbian tennis player thus became the sole leader in the number of victories in the tournaments of this series.

The total prize fund of the clay tournament in 2023 was 49.6 million euros. Djokovic is now richer by 2.3 million euros.
