Not all Russian residents are looking forward to the holidays

Sociologists have found out what the New Year’s mood depends on
There is still a week until the New Year, and, according to one of the portals for finding high-paying jobs, every third Russian has already appeared in the New Year mood.
Isn’t this wonderful?
We are used to “for three”: three heroes, a bird-three, three inscriptions on a stone, three sisters, and the classic “think for three” has not been canceled. And therefore, where one is having fun, the other two will definitely catch up! You don’t need to read any further about the survey results – and it’s clear that Russians are in excellent spirits.
But there are mathematicians in the world, they are meticulous people, and most importantly, they know that the devil is in the details, especially in percentages. And as the rich groom rejected by Thumbelina said, “shouldn’t we do the math, wealthy moles?”
So, the survey on the mood of Russians was conducted among the economically active population over 18 years of age in 393 localities throughout Russia, and only 1,600 people were surveyed. That is, four people were interviewed at each point (seven hundredths of a percent remaining when dividing 1600 by 393 can be neglected). That is, in each locality there were at least 4 representatives of the economically active population… This figure, of course, looks somewhat dubious… But, probably, simply not all economically active people took part in the survey, so we will dance with what we have .
To make the calculations clearer, let’s imagine all the respondents—1,600 people—as passengers on one train (one train can accommodate approximately that many people). 9% of respondents in the study admitted that they fake joy for the sake of loved ones. This is 144 people – four compartment cars. In fact, not a little at all. 45% of respondents do not hide the lack of New Year’s mood – and this is half the train without 80 people. Although these 80 are also a noticeable number, they are 5 SV cars.
And finally, compared to last year, slightly more Russians will celebrate the New Year in a good mood: 31% versus 28%. It would seem that 3% is a mere trifle, but this is 48 people, that is, 2.5 luxury cars.
What about the remaining 45 percent? Those who find themselves in the unhappy category? This is, for a minute, 720 people. 13 reserved seat carriages and another third.
That is, whatever one may say, most of our train is sad. And we need to lift their spirits. But how?
And these recommendations can be found between the lines of the survey! So, according to his data, women are happy about the approach of the New Year more often than men (32% and 30%, respectively). Two percent of those surveyed is 38 people: almost a full business class carriage of a high-speed train!
And also respondents with an income of 80 thousand rubles. per month, more often than those who earn less (34%) are happy that the New Year is approaching. That is, by a third!
So, it turns out that we have two ways to raise the mood of Russians. First: turn men into women. But just last year, the State Duma resolutely banned gender reassignment…
The second option remains. Last. It’s the only one: salary. And if the State Duma determines it at least 80 thousand, then the New Year mood among Russians will rise sharply. After all, nothing pleases people more than a miracle!
Even if they understand that this is not a miracle at all, but just a New Year’s fairy tale.

Whatever salary you start the year with, that’s how you’ll spend it
