A tragedy occurred in the family of Diana Gurtskaya: previously, Diana’s 46-year-old husband, Pyotr Kucherenko, died of a heart attack during the flight, with whom they had been married for almost 18 years. The PR director of the Gurtskaya family, Anna Isaeva, worked with Diana and her husband for many years, and later became a friend of the family. We asked Anna to remember what Peter was like: a man, a husband, a father and a friend. In addition, Kucherenko was also the godfather of her son Philip.

“He was the noblest person, of which there are very few. I respected him from the first minute of my acquaintance, and was especially imbued with how he loved Diana. Peter always treated Diana very touchingly. And it was unconditional care and unconditional understanding, love. And, by the way, he was also demanding, he could quite calmly participate in the discussion of some work processes, suggest something, ”said a family friend.

What happened to Peter now, many associate with his workaholism. The Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation really disappeared at work for days on end.

“Recently, he worked a lot and studied a lot. And he always said that you need to study a lot. I remember that. Our conversation ran into my memory when he said that we need to acquire different professions in parallel, graduate from institutes,” Isaeva says.

According to Anna, Peter was a wonderful godfather to her son Philip.

“Of course, I told him about all the news related to Filka, he always kept his finger on the pulse. I knew that I could call him at any moment, and he would help resolve the issue at any moment. We treated each other warmly and with his sister and his mother. I went through many important stages of life with him: his wedding, discharge from the hospital, anniversaries, etc. … It hurts me a lot, I cry in the morning.
