Norwegian tennis player Kasper Ruud defeated Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of the French Open (Roland Garros) with a score of 6:3, 6:4, 6:0. The match lasted 2 hours and 9 minutes. In the final, Ruud will face Serb Novak Djokovic.
24-year-old Ruud is the winner of ten tournaments of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), he twice reached the final of the Grand Slam tournaments – Roland Garros-2022 and last year’s US Open (US Open). In France, he lost to the Spaniard Rafael Nadal, and in the USA – to the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
The Roland Garros prize pool is €49.6 million. The men’s singles final will take place on June 11th.
