Northerners won six medals at the Russian Jiu-Jitsu Championship

The Russian Jiu-Jitsu Championship among boys and girls under 16 years old has ended in the Tver region. More than a thousand participants from 37 regions of the country competed for medals at the national tournament. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.
Under the leadership of the coaching staff of Alexandra Ivanova, Andrey Koptyaev and Oksana Nikitina, the national team of the Arkhangelsk region won:
- gold in the “duo systems” discipline for girls Evelina Baskakova and Vladislava Shestakova,
- bronze in the duo-systems discipline for young men Semyon Fefilov and Egor Fefilov,
- bronze in the fighting discipline from Evelina Baskakova,
- bronze in the non-vase discipline for Ksenia Baskakova.
We also note the fifth place of Ksenia Mityukhlyaeva, Anton Gmyrin and Dana Golovko.
– For the Pomorie national team this is an average result; they could have performed better. In general, the performance was analyzed and the training process for the coming year was adjusted,” said Alexandra Ivanova, president of the Arkhangelsk Region Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
