Residents of the Kola Arctic can expect a busy sports program this weekend. The Ice Palace will host hockey matches as part of the National Youth Hockey League championship and the Northwestern Federal District junior championship, the regional Ministry of Sports said.
Home games will take place on January 27 at 13:00 and January 28 at the same time in the Ice Palace. HC “Arktika” will play with St. Petersburg “Dynamo 576”.
The Northwestern Federal District Hockey Championship games will take place on the same dates. Participants are juniors under 19 years old. The teams “KSSHOR-Arctic” and “SKA-Iceberg” from the Novgorod region will take to the ice. The games will take place on January 27 at 18:15 and January 28 at 09:00.
Luge competitions will also be held in Kandalaksha. Previously “MK in Murmansk” wrotethat 70 athletes will take part in them.
