North Korea tests underwater strategic weapons

Tests of systems of underwater strategic weapons have been successfully carried out in North Korea, the Central Telegraph Agency of the DPRK (KCNA) reported.
The report says that the tests took place from April 4 to 7, and it was carried out by the National Defense Research Institute of the DPRK. The Haeil-2 underwater strike drone was tested.
Reportedly, the device passed 1000 km under water and on April 7 reached the port of Ryongde to the place of the simulated target. Subsequently, a test warhead was detonated.
The KCNA reports that the tests confirmed the reliability of the strategic submarine weapons system and “its lethal attack capability.”
