North Korea has released a video of the launch of the Hwasong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that the launch of the ICBMs was carried out as part of a sudden check of combat readiness.
The rocket flew 989 km in 67 minutes and then fell into the Sea of Japan. The maximum flight altitude was 5.77 thousand km. Theoretically, such a missile is capable of reaching the US mainland.
Against the background of the rocket launch, the US Air Force conducted separate exercises with the Japanese Air Force and the South Korean Air Force. Fighters were raised into the air, which trained the escort of the bombers.
The footage published by the DPRK state television shows the entire process, from the delivery of the missile to the launch site and ending with footage of the disappearance of ICBMs in the air.
