North Korea launches another ballistic missile

The next launch of a ballistic missile was carried out by the DPRK, the South Korean Yonhap agency.
With reference to the data of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Korea, the agency writes that an unidentified ballistic missile was launched towards the Sea of Japan.
Earlier it was reported about the activation of the North Korean military on the east coast of the Korean Peninsula. Analysts regarded this as a possible launch of a ballistic missile. The North Korean side has not yet commented on the launch.
North Korea has significantly stepped up ballistic and cruise missile launches in 2022.
On September 23, the US Navy strike group led by the USS Ronald Reagan arrived in South Korea. The group’s ships will take part in the first joint exercise in five years with the South Korean navy in the waters around the peninsula. The exercise was said to be part of an Allied effort to contain military threats from North Korea.
