The Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK established a new holiday in the country. From now on, November 18 will be celebrated as Rocket Industry Day. It is known that on November 18, 2022, the Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) was tested.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that on November 18, North Korea “showed the world the greatness of a nuclear power” by launching its “most powerful” ICBMs.
A year ago, the rocket flew about a thousand kilometers at a maximum altitude of 6 thousand kilometers and landed in the economic zone of Japan – 200 km from the island of Hokkaido.
