North Korea calls US a ‘continuing threat’

Pyongyang considers the “Strategy for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction” announced by the Pentagon a serious military-political provocation. This is reported by KCNA with reference to the North Korean military department.
North Korea’s Ministry of Defense said in an official statement that the US is a “continuing threat” as the owner of the world’s largest weapons of mass destruction and the only war criminal in a nuclear war.
Since the beginning of the last century, Washington has called North Korea an “enemy” and regularly makes “pretentious and delusional statements” regarding the country.
“The world’s greatest threat of weapons of mass destruction comes from the United States,” notes the DPRK Ministry of Defense.
Pyongyang called the American strategy to counter weapons of mass destruction an encroachment on the sovereignty and security of states and an attempt to realize “ambitions of military hegemony over the world.”
