Non-partisan Natasha Pirc-Musar becomes president of Slovenia

Center-left nonpartisan candidate Natasha Pirc-Musar became president of Slovenia with 53.88% of the vote. Her rival, former Foreign Minister Anže Logar, conceded defeat with 46.12% of the vote.
As specified, Pirc-Musar is the first woman to hold the presidency of the republic. She called the establishment of a dialogue between all Slovenes her main task.
Natasha Pirc-Musar has a law degree and was previously Commissioner for Information (2005–2014) and head of the Slovenian Red Cross.
