The leaders of the regions began to respond to the appeal of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, to the governors of the regions – to carry out “self-mobilization” and recruit a thousand volunteers to participate in the SVO. This is the governor of the border Kursk region Roman Starovoit, the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov, the head of Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev…

Both the Kursk region and the Crimea fell under the blows of Ukrainian missiles and drones. That is why they treated Kadyrov’s words with understanding.

The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the republic had already sent 1,200 volunteers to the SVO. And now two more battalions are being formed. Kursk governor Starovoit spoke about more than 800 volunteers sent to units in the special operation zone. And now volunteers are being recruited for the mobilization reserve, which, according to the head of the region, is intended to protect the borders of the Kursk region. “Recruits will receive appropriate training and will also receive the necessary equipment,” he wrote on Telegram.

An announcement even appeared on social networks about the formation of the Seim logistics battalion in the Kursk region, where everyone is invited to sign up. True, it is unrealistic to call the phones left on the site: for several hours, calls were simply dropped there.

Approximately the same figures of “self-mobilization” are reported in the Voronezh region – 950 volunteers went to the NVO zone. According to the head of the region Alexander Gusev, local businessmen also help – they transferred 34 million rubles for the needs of the military.

The Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine, also has a motivational background. This region is one of those that suffer the most from the aggression of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their constant attempts to shell the border settlements. The day before, they struck at the city of Valuiki in the Belgorod region, which led to destruction and casualties. However, “self-mobilization” is not yet reported here. “We don’t have such information yet,” the press service of the regional government told MK in response to a question about voluntary mobilization.

Suddenly, the governor of the Magadan region joined the leaders of the border regions. Sergei Nosov. He stated that he supported the initiative of the head of Chechnya. “We can not only help prepare, educate and equip volunteers for service in areas where a special operation is underway. I want to note that we need to mobilize all those who work in the region.” Moreover, Nosov called for the creation of cooperation between regions depending on their resources and a reliably working rear, taking into account the capabilities of each territory. After that, information from the governor appeared on the website of the regional government: “I ask you to proceed with the implementation. Planning should begin with an assessment of your capabilities and suggestions on how to accomplish this task.

The head of Mari El, Yuri Zaitsev, also announced his readiness to join the process. According to him, volunteer units are already being formed in the republic to participate in the special operation. By the way, back in July, a nominal Mari battalion was formed in the republic, whose employees signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, spoke about two republican battalions already sent to the NVO zone. He considers the idea of ​​the head of Chechnya to be correct. According to him, two volunteer battalions of Bashkiria named after Minigali Shaimuratov and Alexander Dostavalov are already on the front line and have joined the battle. “And hundreds of our fellow volunteers have been showing courage and heroism in the Bars detachment and other units for several months now.”

Khabirov believes that the task of the regions is the same – to provide material and moral support to the families of military personnel, and the soldiers themselves “need to provide economic, humanitarian assistance, help with their technical support,” Khabirov added.

Chuvashia and St. Petersburg also supported the initiative. From Chuvashia, for example, more than a thousand volunteers are already serving – in the nominal Chuvash battalion “Atal” and other units.
