Noble hunter and fisherman Alexander Lisitsyn turns 70

Alexander Lisitsyn, head of the United Editorial Board of “Hunting Editions” “MK”, ​​a wonderful person, a unique specialist, an experienced journalist – 70!

I am very glad that in the distant past we were students of the Geological Prospecting Institute at the same time. True, Sasha studied a few years younger, but even then he was distinguished by a very competent attitude to the profession of a geologist, explorer and conqueror of the bowels, and in the future he gave a lot of strength and talent for the benefit of the development of the industry as a whole.

However, life never stands still, fate called Alexander to explore new horizons – he became professionally interested in the development of tourism, especially domestic tourism, plunging into the study of the vast expanses of our country, where his long-standing passion for hunting and fishing was very useful. At some point, it outweighed everything else so much that at the first opportunity to organize such a business in Russia – tourism, associated exclusively with hunting and fishing, he took advantage of it, attracting more and more new amateurs and professionals to travel, including international organizations and unions, becoming one of the domestic gurus in this field.

With all this, I want to note that Alexander was engaged in proper fishing and proper hunting. Which are inextricably linked not with the destruction of nature, but with its preservation and restoration, so that future generations have the opportunity to admire the unique protected corners of our country, their flora and fauna, not from pictures or films, but with their own eyes.

And, of course, I am immensely glad that at one time Alexander agreed to head our joint editorial board of hunting publications, raising their quality to the highest level, earning great respect from colleagues – amateurs and professionals.

Happy anniversary, Alexander Ivanovich, health, creative longevity and as many trips as possible across the expanses of our great and beautiful homeland, new discoveries, impressions and interesting journalistic work!
