The People’s Militia of the DPR said that the units of the Ukrainian troops that defended Soledar included battalions made up entirely of foreign mercenaries.
It is specified that at the moment the Ukrainian military is rapidly losing their equipment, including the one supplied by NATO. In the West, this is associated with insufficient training of the Ukrainian military.
Therefore, in order to preserve military equipment, instead of mixed units in which regular forces were led by NATO mercenaries, battalions consisting entirely of foreigners began to be used.

At the same time, in the same Soledar there was no longer just a couple of pickup trucks with foreigners. Battalions and companies worked there, which were fully staffed by foreign mercenaries,” the People’s Militia of the DPR noted.
