The son of the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, Nikolai confirmedthat he completed military service in the special operation zone as part of the Wagner PMC, as he told in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

According to Peskov, Jr., he asked his father to help him contact the PMC in order to go to the NVO zone. “When I made the decision for myself to participate in the NWO, I did not know how to get there correctly. Nikolai Peskov added that he and the crew were awarded the medal “For Courage”, but could not give details. “This is already for a certain military feat. All my crew accomplished a feat. We had one interesting outing. I can’t say more,” he said.

Peskov also said that he served under a pseudonym, while in the NVO zone, call signs are always used for communication, and not the name and surname.
