Nikolai Patrushev inspected the construction site of the volleyball center

Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev visited the construction site of a new volleyball center in Yaroslavl. The capital’s guest was accompanied on the trip by the Presidential Envoy to the Central Federal District Igor Shchegolev, the head of the region Mikhail Evraev, and the ex-governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergei Vakhrukov.

Let us remind you that the building for beach volleyball is currently in a high degree of readiness. The building frame is ready, communications are being connected, and now exterior and interior finishing work is underway. But the main building is still under construction. The monolithic frame of the building is being completed. Preparations are underway for the installation of long-span metal trusses of the main roof dome. Engineering communications are connected to the building.

The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation noted that work is underway.

“Both federal and regional opportunities are being used, and, of course, private investors are very actively investing in the facility,” noted Nikolai Patrushev.

The distinguished guest also noted that the regional authorities and the governor of the Yaroslavl region himself are interested in ensuring that the facility is self-sustaining. And he asked to pay attention to the infrastructure around the volleyball center. The readiness date for the main facility was also announced – July 2025.

Sergei Shlyapnikov, president of the Yaroslavich volleyball club, who also accompanied the representative delegation of the federal official, said that the club and loyal volleyball fans in the Yaroslavl region are looking forward to the commissioning of the center. And the club is fighting for entry into the Super League.
