Nikitin leads the elections in the Novgorod region

According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, after processing 51.68% of the ballots in the elections for the head of the Novgorod region, the incumbent governor Andrei Nikitin, representing United Russia, is in the lead.
At the moment, 77.06% of the votes have been cast for the current head of the region, in second place is Olga Efimova from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation with 11.23% of the votes. Closes the top three leaders Alexei Chursinov (LDPR), he has 4.29% of the vote.
