“Night of IBA Champions” will be held in Serpukhov

An exciting evening of professional boxing will take place at the Nadezhda Sports Palace on February 3 at 19:00, as part of the IBA Night of Champions tournament series.
In the main fight, Vsevolod Shumkov, a three-time champion of Russia and bronze medalist of the 2023 World Championship, will meet, as well as Horta Rodriguez Seidel, a finalist of the World Championship in Tashkent, a Cuban. The boxers will fight for the title of contender for the IBA professional belt in the weight category up to 57 kg.
This fight will receive special attention from boxers and fans, as it will take place in a ten-round format.
It is interesting to note that at the World Championships in Tashkent, boxers competed in different weight categories: Shumkov up to 60 kg, while Saidel – up to 57 kg. This fight will be special for Shumkov, since he will be the headliner of the IBA Night of Champions tournament for the first time, although he has performed at such events more than once.

2021 world champion, Russian Mark Petrovsky and Croatian Agronom Smakichi will fight for the IBA European champion belt.
Petrovsky’s most recent victories were over Lucas Browne, a former WBA regular champion from Australia, and Kevin Johnson, a former WBC title challenger from the United States.
The show also includes fights with the participation of other titled Russian boxers, such as Pavel Sosulin, Ilya Popov and Artem Suslenkov. There will also be boxers competing for Serbia – Artyom Ageev and Vladimir Mironchikov.
