Rebels in Niger disperse foreign ambassadors. They have already asked a diplomat from France to leave the country. Some time later, the same demands were addressed to the German ambassador. Al Jazeera reports.

Further, the list of undesirable diplomatic missions began to expand dramatically. Ultimatums were presented to the ambassadors of Nigeria, the United States, and Côte d’Ivoire. All diplomats are requested to leave Niger’s capital, Niamey, within 48 hours.

Recall that on July 26, a coup d’état took place in Niger. Now the country is governed by the National Council for the Salvation of the Motherland. It is headed by General Abdurahman Tchiani.
