Newsweek: Europe will not be able to endlessly support the US in the fight against Russia
[ad_1]
In an American newspaper Newsweek published an article by international affairs expert Michael Gfoeller and former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia David Rundell, in which they stated that the White House is constantly counting on its European allies in countering Russia, but this situation cannot last long.
According to the authors, Europe is currently in the grip of a serious economic crisis caused by sanctions against Russia. All this provoked rapid inflation, the growth of energy resources and a general rise in the cost of living.
These factors have caused resignations in a number of European countries. Among other things, strikes were registered in some states. In the future, according to experts of the publication, there will be an increase in public discontent and increased unrest.
All these negative factors may force European leaders to reconsider their position.
