On January 5, a New Year’s ski race and a city mas-wrestling tournament were held in Kurgan on the central square as part of the Sports Winter project. Also, citizens and guests of the capital of the Trans-Urals participated in an aerobics master class.
Mas-wrestling tournament was held in Kurgan for the first time. This type of competition originated in Yakutia. Participants pulled each other with a stick.
The participants of the festival competed in the race on giant inflatable skis. The winners of the competition received commemorative prizes from the administration of Kurgan, the press service of the mayor’s office reports.
The Sports Winter project is being implemented throughout the winter in the fresh air in different areas of Kurgan. Residents and guests of the city can join the events.
Earlier, MK-Ural reported that On December 24, the residence of Father Frost was opened in Kurgan in the Central Park of Culture and Culture.
The guests at the festive site were met by Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. Together with the children they sang songs, danced and danced round dances.
